A Fresh Start
The deadline on the financial report her boss requested is dangerously creeping up on her. She probably (no, definitely) shouldn't have gone out for drinks with Hannah and Lexi last night, but the need to unwind and have some fun came out the winner against her responsible self. She steals a glance at her watch and takes a sharp inhale. Five o'clock is now only fifteen minutes away and she's no closer to finishing than she was at noon.

Hobbit Food Feasting
“If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.” - The Hobbit My favorite part of the Holidays is the feasting and merriment. Spending hours with friends and family over shared bottles of wine and tables full of decadent food. Growing up, my family always did a traditional Christmas meal with turkey, casseroles, and pies. However, in the last few years, we've started something new that I think will stick for many years to come. On Christmas Eve I create massive charcuterie boards and we pop open several of our favorite wines from our favorite label: Lazarre.

Find Me Somebody To Love
It's not hard for me to pick a favorite era of music. There are only a handful of bands and artists that I can listen to on repeat, over and over again without any skips, and Queen leads the pack. Since the release of the film Bohemian Rhapsody in 2018, there has been an increase of hype around the band and many new people have joined the Queen fan club. However, I have memories from 15 years ago listening to Queen with my dad in his old, beat-up truck.

Until We Meet Again
The history of this planet we call home is riddled with many highs and many lows. I believe we can all agree that 2020 has been a low year in more ways than one. Something I've realized during these troubling times is how distant and removed the crisis around us can feel when we aren't experiencing it or being impacted by it first-hand. I had a similar revelation when reading "Until We Meet Again: A True Story of Love and Survival in The Holocaust".

Flashback to Living My DreamThird Place in Flashback Challenge
Just four short (or really long, depending on how I feel in the moment) months ago I was performing on the Marriott Stage at 11:00 pm on the closing night of The NAMM Show 2020 in Anaheim, CA. It was my biggest show to date, and I can still feel the adrenaline from that night when I think back to it. Coming off of the show, I had momentum like I've never had before, and I was more than ready to keep rolling with the live shows, the travel, and the growing of my music career. Then COVID happened.
