My Wife and I Met Through 'Game of Thrones'
I have been a fan of Game of Thrones since the second episode aired. I owe my discovery of the show to a colleague who mentioned, in passing, that she had seen the first episode of a new show they thought I might like, and that I should tune in next week. It’s funny how the tiniest, most trivial things like show suggestions can end up having more impact on your life than anyone could have dreamed.

Can 'Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists' Recapture the Magic?
From 2010 to 2017, Pretty Little Liars was the queen of teen television. The show popularized live-tweeting, influenced fashion trends, and kept a legion of devoted fans—both teens and adults—tuning in week after week to find out who the mysterious A was. Now, once again, some of TVs favorite liars are back on the small screen with the new spin-off Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. While the spin-off features two fan favorite characters from the original, Alison and Mona, it remains to be seen whether or not Perfectionists can recapture the success of its mothership.

You Actually Love Musicals— You Just Don't Know It Yet
I have this long-running theory. It’s a bit of a crazy one, but hear me out: everyone likes musicals. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes musical theatre, I have met many a person who has told me they hate musicals. It’s always a struggle for me to not immediately launch into my seven-step program for converting anyone into a musical theatre geek. But I resist the urge to pull up Hamilton on Apple Music, and save my energy by just smiling and nodding. To each their own!

4 Nail Art Designs That Literally Anyone Can Do
I’m the kind of person who always has their nails done. I never pay for manicures, and I constantly have people ask me how I got my nails to look so great! But my big secret is, while I’m great at painting my nails basic colours, I’m actually terrible at nail art. You wouldn’t know it, because I’m often rocking a nice gradient (my favourite, because they’re SO easy), or some other basic style. Here are five nail art designs that you can do if you’ve never picked up a striping brush in your life.

The Unfeminist Feminist, Or Is Jackie Kennedy a Feminist Icon?
There is no doubt that the word "icon" applies to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She's without question one of the most famous women in history, and remembered for many things, including her bouffant hair, stylish wardrobe, breathy voice, and the legendary bloodstained pink suit.

Queen Elizabeth II's Most Badass Moments
No matter where you live, the words "the Queen" almost certainly conjure up one world-famous monarch: Queen Elizabeth II, of the UK (and Canada, and Australia, and so on). In addition to being the longest-reigning and oldest living British monarch, she is also the grandmother of the ever-popular young Royal generation, Princes William and Harry (whose recent engagement to Suits actress Meghan Markle recently took the world by storm). But the 91-year-old Queen Elizabeth, or Lilibet, as her family calls her, is not all tea and crumpets and "my-husband-and-I"s.

Carousel's Return to Broadway
The 2018 revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel is, for many theatre fans, a dreamy idea. With a cast of Broadway favorites – Jessie Mueller, Joshua Henry, Betsy Wolfe, and opera legend Renée Fleming – and a stunning score by Rodgers and Hammerstein, the production is sure to be a strong contender for the Best Revival Tony Award (and maybe add a second Tony statue to Jessie Mueller’s personal shelf as well). But the show itself, about an unlikely couple who both lose their jobs as a result of their relationship, relies on some pretty outdated ideas of marriage and loyalty; some might even call it an “ode to domestic violence.”
