Quick disclaimer: this is just my opinion, and your list can, and it will, be different that mine. Each girl has a unique charm and talent. That is why depending on the concept, song, outfits, and makeup one of the girls is bound to stand out more than the others in beauty. I think they are all pretty, and that without one of them the group is incomplete.
Jennie really fits "Boombayah's" style. When I first heard that YG was debuting a girl group, I didn't really know the members, or care much about the group. However, when their music video was released, I went on to watch it, and Jennie was the member that caught my attention the most. Lisa caught my attention too. Actually she was the member I was most familiar with. For the most part, everybody knew her from being GOT7’s BamBam childhood friend.
When I heard "Whistle" for the first time, I fell in love with it! I think it had something to do with the bass that you hear at the beginning of the song. Jisoo really stands out for me on each scene she appears in, in the music video. Also, there is something about her deep, raspy voice that really fits the song. Lisa really stood out for me in this music video. Mainly for two things: she has a singing line and her rap. I think this is the only song where you actually hear her sing and rap. I’m talking about the part where she sings ‘24/365…’
"Playing with Fire"
Jennie once again stood out for me in this music video. I really like how she sings the opening verse. Jisoo is very talented, and she showed it since her debut. However, I think it was during this era that the public started noticing her talent, and her potential. I also saw a change in her. It was as if she tried her best to prove and show that she deserved a spot in BLACKPINK.
Although this is their least viewed music video, I found something very unique and captivating about the melody. Rosé voice in this song is very soothing and fitting. You can tell she sings from her heart. I also liked how they included a rap, although the song was slow paced. But what I liked more is that Jennie raps very soothingly, compared to her more ‘aggressive’ raps in previous songs.
"As If It's Your Last"
I love this song! When I heard the teaser I knew it would be an amazing song. Then when the song was released, I fell in love instantly. The visuals and the colors in the music videos are very beautiful, and I was happy they tried a different concept.
Another one of my favorites. Though I must admit that when I listened to it the first time I was slightly unimpressed. The more I listened to it, the more I liked it, but at first the break dance part was my favorite part. Eventually I liked the whole song. Rosé’s red hair really brought out her features beautifully.
"Kill This Love"
Their latest song. Jennie and Lisa have the best outfits and makeup for this music video. (In my humble opinion).
