Five 'Filthy' Feminist Songs

Let's Get Positively Feminist

Feminists are all about positive sexual vibes. So to help everyone get into that vibe here are five filthy feminist songs

The original song all about the beauty of females and lesbian sex appeared at the end of Tove Lo's Fairy Dust Short Film. Then Tove Lo later released a remixed version with Charli XCX, Icona Pop, Elliphant, and Alma.

The video plot focused on a woman who takes her lover to a class where the artists are teaching how to please a woman. The class primarily focuses on oral sex. At the end of the video, the woman decides to stay with the artists instead of leaving with her boyfriend.

"Bitches” is my cheeky nod to, “What if girls sing a song like this?” with this kind of lyric I feel like no one raises an eyebrow when dudes do it." – Tove Lo for 'Fuse

Lady Gaga has never been someone to shy away from showing her sexual side. Well, any of her sides really. Lady Gaga has several songs that could go on this list but this one just has something special. This song talks about being powerful even if you are under someone. Even though, let's face it, bottoms have all the power. G.U.Y. stands for "Girl Under You", which, I'm not going to lie, took me several listens to figure out.

"I'm gonna wear the towel, the power to leave youI'm aiming for full control of this love (of this love)Touch me, touch me, don't be sweetLove me, love me, please retreatLet me be the girl under you that makes you cry"

Lil' Kim also has also not been one to ever shy away and this song shows it. On an explicit scale of one to ten this song is an eleven. The song title "How Many Licks" is in reference to Lil' Kim's vagina and the song talks a lot about oral sex. Lil' Kim is very dominant and sex-positive in these lyrics.

"Puerto Rican papi used to be a DeaconBut now he be suckin' me off on the weekendAnd this black dude I called King KongHe had a big ass dick and a hurricane tongue"

Much like many songs on this list, this song refers to Madonna's nether regions. It's not hard to imagine what the holy water is. Maybe every girl needs to think about whats between their legs as holy water.

"It's sacred and immaculateI can let you in heaven's doorI promise you it's not a sinFind salvation deep within"

Cardi B is the modern feminist queen. She's confident and shows it. "Red Barz" shows just that. This song doesn't exactly scream feminist but when you listen to Cardi B you just feel powerful.

"And niggas hatin' on me, really be upsetI don't know, make me wonder what you got between your legsYou a real nigga mad at a bitch for getting bread? You's a bitch from birth, you just grew a third leg, woo!"
