Hot SoundCloud Week 3

Week three of our quest to find top independent artist has brought us a wide variety of R&B hits and EDM anthems. As always, hip hop and rap are well represented but unfortunately many of these artists have yet to perfect their mix to the level of our top 10 featured artist have, so most will fall in the bottom half this week.

Quality of music is paramount here at the Hot SoundCloud playlist, and already we have had some incredible artist featured. Booty Bae can be found on Soundcloud, Instagram, and Twitter. The number one featured track this week is a gem, with heartfelt lyrics and smooth vocals, this classic R&B jam is a breath of fresh air. Make sure to check out his latest visuals as well.

Live Action Gang (LAG) was formed in March of 2017. The group has 2 producers and 3 rappers. Dre DaBoss Bangers, Dat Dude (Producers); Taylor Mane, Yung HIM, and Cherokee.

This anthem bangs and holds a gang of lyrics. The group throws the cypher back and forth between the hook with synchronicity. Look for this group to start stacking paper. Follow them on SoundCloud and look out for their up coming album.

2Be Crazy is an upcoming German DJ & Producer. Known for his own Radio Show, We Want 2Be Crazy—he is bringing the best releases in 2017 to your speakers. Always be prepared for a new EDM Festival Dance Mix every week. Follow him on SoundCloud for his new content which pumps away for almost an hour of EDM bliss.

Jeff Rigel is a 25 year old sound engineer based out of Rome. He does mixing and mastering for musicians and you can get in touch with him at his email. This track is delightful and fits nicely with our heavy dance music beginning. Make sure to also follow Jeff at his Facebook and be louder!

The second of our long mixes, this 47 minute music journey features a pure electronica beat with pulsing synths and breakbeats. Make sure to follow Skim Kanza on SoundCloud for more content.

Instrumental music based on literary, historical, or pictorial subject and intended to describe or illustrate this theme musically. Drobot is our last new track on our two plus hour EDM Party. You can follow Drobot on YouTube and SoundCloud.

What better way to close out the EDM party than with our favorite EDM track from our previous week. The feel-good EDM track pulses with a catchy melody and features a wonderful vocalist. Fans of electronic dance music should definitely tune into this SoundCloud page.

Juke Joint Music Group presents "Cuncocshun," consisting of Big B & Soufhpau, natives of Memphis. Inspired by southern music pioneers such as 8Ball and MJG, UGK, Outkast, Dirty, Ludacris, and Goodie Mob, Soufhpau & Big B both started doing music together years back, and always mixed well with each other.

MoneyRock is back again the collective of talent that spreads across states and countries. Their collective skills are definitely on display on this conscious track.

We see a familiar number one from last week and this track is still the fire. Download the new mixtape, SmokersSection at datpiff, and follow Dour on Twitter.

I'm here to steal your fame... says the gifted one, who spits a real-life song that tells the story of his life day by day. The rapper laces the boom bap piano instrumental with a whirlwind of his struggle. Still no other lyricist has been able to surpass this material. This rap is the best example of the therapy in music.

We've got a lot of love for this rapper. Ramiagu spits his freestyle with pure fire. The Pittsburg MC can be found on Soundcloud.

Singer/songwriter originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He then moved to Zambia and is now living in the U.S.A. Through his music, he has integrated all his experiences and love to inspire others. Make sure to follow his SoundCloud and Facebook.

Another R&B track for this weeks playlist, Sammie Lindsey's harmonies are on showcase in this vibing track. Make sure to follow Sammie Lindsey on SoundCloud.

The playlist is giving more love to the unknown MC who gave us one of the most conscious tracks to be submitted. He goes into the issues of black lives matters and the the struggle of life in the neighborhood. The message "they don't really care about us" is reinforced with every lyric, which criticizes every aspect of our legal and criminal correction systems.

A true Texas banger, Ivey Sparxxx throws his flow down as he represents for his city. Find his music on Spotify.

Once again we get a jewel from the Egyptian Australian rapper. The playlist loves having the lyrics of a quality rapper like Mama Kleio. Definitely make sure to follow her on SoundCloud.

This track is still a joy to listen to and it closes out our week; the beat, produced by Jou Beats, has a new wave style that captures a kind of Saturday morning essence. With wordplay and flow, this track is a personal favorite.

SoundCloud is a music and social media platform used by independent and local musicians to share and post their various projects. Several well-known artists have started their careers posting their music only to be "discovered" later by major labels. It’s still challenging to make it in the music industry, but there are opportunities now that have never been available before. With SoundCloud, you are able to upload your music, follow other users who are uploading theirs, and connect with other artists.

However, it is not just for underground and aspiring artists; well-renowned artists regularly upload music to the site and are able to create big buzz by posting the links to different social media websites.
