We all love to hit the beach in the summer and on the way there, car rides need to pump you up and get you in the mood for summer. Without further ado, here are 16 songs you can replay over and over, have as the soundtrack to your BBQ, or add to that beach playlist. 100% chance of sunshine and that these songs will get stuck in your head.

The first time I heard this song I couldn't help but let out a squeal because everything about it infects you and affects you in the best way.

A bluesy EDM mixed pop rock ballad about finally letting go of all your insecurities & inhibitions and going for what you want.

It also uses a double metaphor of falling in love with someone.

Musical elements to take note of:

  • Spanish guitar
  • Electric guitar riffs on breakdown

Honestly, this track is just plain fiyah!

Harmonizing vocals between Luis Fonsi and Justin Bieber are perfection while Daddy Yankee raps the breakdown, it's beautiful to hear Bieber sing such fluent Spanish.

Musically, you will notice a Latin rhythm keeps this track going with emphasis on Spanish guitar.

A piano ballad about someone who was labeled and mistreated who takes what's happened to them and lets it turn them into gold.

I'm not done, I'm no loser, watch me take on my bright future.

Some elements this track features:

  • Bass guitar emphasis
  • Extensive vamping
  • Electronica influences
  • Repetitive melodic phrasing

A song about an ex who always makes it seem like they want you back but they just want to keep you in a limbo.

Containing heavy emphasis on guitar with electronica influences, this club anthem discusses going out to club looking for love and reminiscing your ex-love.

Electronic dance music hitmaker Steve Aoki meets Louis Tomlinson on this uplifting track for those days when you feel as though everything is wrong.

Darling, just hold on.

This song makes me miss this young beautiful talent. A beautiful arrangement similar to her single Invisible, EDM meets Grimmie's R&B vocal stylings and incomparable vocal range. It's my favorite off her Side B EP.

With the sound of a lullaby you can dance to, this track will stay stuck in your head almost like positive things your mother might say to you. It features Caribbean rhythms and electronica influences.

The music video has a Western Saloon theme but the song itself has a modern day Aerosmith vibe, and was produced by the same Swedish duo that wrote Cake By The Ocean.

This Carribean-driven sexy pop/dance hall track references to drinking alcohol and/or oral sex and will have you dancing throughout it's entirety.

A party anthem that uses percussive clinking of champagne glasses to keep the dance beat and party vibes. Charli sounds amazing vocally and this is one of my favorite songs by her. Very well done.

EDM style track that includes vocal bravado about having a small circle and being fine with it.

I mean we can throw shapes together but it doesn't mean you're in my circle.

A blend of Irish folk music meets Sheeran's acoustic pop style with this track which depicts a man & a woman meeting in an Irish pub and dancing the night away.

A perfect summer club banger, this is THE SONG of 2017 featuring vocal powerhouse Demi Lovato, it portrays a picture of the beginning of a relationship. The video (see above) is also a banger, and Demi looks like a galactic princess.

A good follow-up to "I'm A Lady" by Meghan Trainor, Steinfield celebrates all kinds of girls with this female empowerment pop anthem with a chorus that declares girls as strong and powerful.

A playful 80's vibe are features of this track's musicality while the lyrical content describes depression the lead singer faced personally as well as confronting themes of growing up.
