Concert

The other night I attended the Pan!c at the Disco with Saint Motel and Misterwives concert here in Cleveland, my first concert I have attended in awhile ( Gasp I know it's a tragedy!) but it was well worth the wait. When it comes to live music there is nothing better, or more nerve touching. I have done a lot of weird things in my life, but concerts have always been the one thing that makes me feel alive. So let's get down to business!

Not only is Pan!c at the Disco incredibly talented, you also never know what is going to come next! There was fire, a lot of fire actually! Streamers shooting into the sky, glitter falling on Brendon as he did the Piano Version of 'This is Gospel'. Let's not forget that the fire also danced in tune to Crazy=Genius. The entire concert had so much energy and vibe. The entire concert was phenomenal, 90 straight minutes of pure Pan!c. But I want to take a moment to also appreciate not only the band but the crowd as well. With acceptance.

Acceptance is the action of allowing or appreciating things that are different (my own dictionary version) and sadly that just seems to be such a foreign word in the world we live in today. With so much hate and anger in this world, we have forgotten to accept others for who they are. A big group that has had to fight for their right is the LGBT. What made me exceptionally proud on Wednesday nights concert was being in an arena full of people who love and support difference. This group of people who embrace each other and bands who embrace their fans.

During Pan!c at the Disco's live rendition of Girls/Girls/ Boys, two fans handed out paper hearts. Hearts made of all different colors so that when you held your phone up to it, the room shined with acceptance, while Urie held up the iconic rainbow-colored flag. Looking around the dark arena all you saw were bright colors, this made me proud to be part of some-thing bigger than myself.

Just remember that you are not alone in this world, whether you are Gay, Straight, Bi, Transgender, Pansexual, asexual, etc you belong here this is your world, and this is your life,

"And never did I think that IWould be caught in the way you got meBut girls love girls and boysAnd love is not a choice As Always Hugs and Music notes..."
