Putting Your Music Out There

Earn from your music across all major platforms.

Okay, I used a website that will put your music on a lot of different websites including Amazon, Spotify, Youtube, Google Play, iTunes Deezer and many more. This site offers to charge you 15 percent so you do not have to pay for distribution. They do offer a one-off payment so they do not take a cut.

The website in question is routenote.com. I put an album out in 2016 and earned about $7 off the site. I am still not at the threshold yet, so I haven't been paid. I believe the minimum withdrawal is $50 paid through PayPal. You can find my album by following this link to Spotify. Overall, it is a really good site and pretty straight forward for music distribution. I believe the way to success is to put out a lot of music. The volume of material will keep your fans interested and keep the dollars rolling in. Keep in mind some of them pay per each person that views your music while sites like Amazon and iTunes only pay if your album is sold.

You can buy music software online and you will need a half decent microphone. Look at it as an investment that you want to pay for itself and then profit off of it after some time.

I wasn't even expecting to turn much of a profit and still haven't after the music software is accounted for. But it is a nice feeling when you sell an album. And as long as you put out some decent music you are bound to make some money off of it. Remember, Spotify pays per each listener and you do not have to necessarily get a buyer of your album.

When you're putting music out, all you really need is a good distributor, like routenote.com. Once this is complete, you can set it on autopilot and reap the rewards. If you're looking for music software, a quick search into top music software online will get your career on its way. The best advice I can give is start doing it now so you can build your following early and find some recurring listeners to your music.

And if you do not get much of a fanbase right out of the gates, do not worry. Persistence will overcome failure every time. So keep going and do not give up. If music is your dream, chase it. It's your dream, nobody else's. That's yours and you have one shot at life so follow your dreams. If you take the sure thing you can still lose your job or get laid off, but if you follow your dream, you will enjoy life. If you get good, it will outweigh the amount you would make by playing it safe.

This site will create recurring income and if you put as much music out there as you can, surely there will be profits to be made. Once you record, it can be easily accessed by searching your name followed by the platform name like "Ariana Grande Spotify."

Do not give up. I really hope this will make your music career feel achievable. I just made one album and at one point had 55 monthly listeners. I plan on putting another album out and maybe more if my success grows, but I will have to buy another music software to make beats for my hip-hop/rap music. I love listening to this type of music and I like making music. If it can be a side income so be it. It would be nice to make a little income on the side as recurring income. It is a great idea and you should give it a try. Everyone likes some kind of music and you're probably better at it than you think if you listen to a lot of music.
