Today’s post is my go to playlist at the moment, I definitely recommend trying these songs if you don’t know them at the moment. My music taste differs so I can go from a top Ibiza DJ to green day. I hope you enjoy. I am going to give a brief explanation of why I like each song below.

Top 50 Favourite Songs

1. Rumour Has It- Adele

I’m not normally a huge fan of Adele but this song is different to her usual stuff. It’s a bit more upbeat than her other songs which I like. I do find some of her other songs a bit too slow and some depressing but I also like a couple of her other songs and this one is my favourite.

2. Chasing Highs- Alma

When I first heard the song Chasing Highs I fell in love straight away. I just adore this song and look forward to more from Alma.

3. Fire Inside- Apashe

I only heard this song a couple of days ago and I fell in love instantly. Usually songs like this are a bit too chavvy for me but I do really like this song for some reason. It would sound really good in a nightclub, also I have grown to really like this artist though who was introduced to me by my work friend.

4. Heading Up High- Armin Van Buuren

When I first heard this song I knew that this was my song! It was introduced to me by my boyfriend and he knew it would be my song straight away. I love anything that sounds similar to this.

5. I Need You- Armin Van Buuren ft Olaf Blackwood

This song is one that gave me instant Hollister vibes as strange as that sounds. I can see this sort of song in their playlist. They used to have an app that had their playlist on which I found so useful because I loved some of the tunes that played in there but then it all of a sudden stopped working.

6. Summer Of 69- Bryan Adams

I know that this is an old 80s song but it is definitely a memorable one, this is one of my all time favourite songs I absolutely love it! Whenever it comes on in an 80s bar in my local town I am always belting it out!

7. One Call Away- Charlie Puth

I know this is also an old song but I really like this song. I didn’t used to like Charlie Puth that much but this one is really good and his newer ones are too.

8. A Head Full Of Dreams- Coldplay

This is one of Coldplay’s newer songs. I saw them live around 2 years ago now and they sang this song amazingly! I really liked this album anyway before I went to see them but I loved it even more afterwards and especially this song. Whenever I go to a concert I always have a favourite song of the night and this turned out to be it.

9. Hymn For The Weekend- Coldplay (Seeb Remix)

I do like the original version with Beyoncé of this song but for some reason I prefer this remix. I’m not sure why but I just do.

10. Viva La Vida- Coldplay

This is my all time favourite Coldplay song, I have loved it since I was young and it came out. I also enjoyed them singing this song live.

11. Stay A While- Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike

My boyfriend introduced me to this song and the artist and I just fell in love with this as soon as I heard it. It’s very different and I think that’s what I like about it.

12. Hey Baby- Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike

He also introduced me to this song and no it’s not the cheesy version that everyone knows and loves it is a different song all together but it’s a really good tune.

13. Castle On The Hill- Ed Sheeran

I did not need introducing to Ed Sheeran at all, he is my actual bae, I absolutely adored this song when it came out and the album ‘Divide’ all together. The song lyrics reminded me of my teenage years and that’s why I loved it so much as it brought back so many memories.

14. New Man- Ed Sheeran

This has to be my favourite song from the album ‘Divide’ I absolutely love it! I know every word to this song, to be fair I probably know every word to every song on his album.

15. Nancy Mulligan- Ed Sheeran

This is my second favourite one off the album, I just love this song. I don’t think I was keen at first but then it grew on me and I absolutely love it now.

16. River- Eminem ft Ed Sheeran

I was so excited when I found out that Eminem had done a song with Ed Sheeran on his new album ‘Revival’ this in my head is a perfect collaboration and my god did it work out to be what i expected! I absolutely love this song.

17. Chunky- Format B

Again, this is another song that I would’ve found a bit too chavvy but for some reason I love it and find it really catchy. It sounds really good when they play it in my local nightclubs and everyone seems to sing a long to it.

19. Unforgettable- French Montana ft Swae Lee

I adored this song when it first came out and I still love it now. It was my favourite song for months.

20. Youngblood- Green Day

This is another song that I really loved hearing live. I saw Green Day last year and they performed great. This is definitely my favourite song from ‘Revolution Radio’ but it sounded even better live.

21. American Idiot- Green Day

Who doesn’t love this Green Day song, I just love the album ‘American Idiot’ anyway but this is my favourite song from it.

22. Know Your Enemy- Green Day

Know your enemy is my favourite Green Day song. It was the first one I ever heard when I saw a tribute band a few years ago with my friend and this is what made me love Green Day so much.

23. Walking The Wire- Imagine Dragons

This is one of the Imagine Dragons newer songs from their newest album ‘Evolve’ I’m not sure how I first heard the Imagine Dragons but I knew I loved them straight away. This is definitely my favourite song from their newest album.

24. Demons- Imagine Dragons

This is my all time favourite Imagine Dragons song. I don’t know what it is I like so much about it with it being a slow song but I think it’s just the lyrics to the song that I like the most about it.

25. Breathe- Jax Jones

I love all of Jax Jones’ songs but this is my favourite one at the moment. I wish that this was out when we saw him live at Leeds Festival last year. Jax Jones is definitely in my top 3 favourite artists who I saw at Leeds Festival. I just find this song so catchy and I really like it. It even came over his song Housework which I didn’t think it would do.

26. Home- Kian Egan

I know that the original singer to this is Chris Daughtry and I do like his version but I definitely prefer Kian Egan’s. I just prefer his own personal twist to the song.

27. Hanging By A Moment- Lifehouse

I came across Lifehouse on YouTube quite a few years ago and I’ve liked them ever since. I do like a few of their other songs but this one is definitely the best one I’ve heard. I adore this song.

28. In The End- Linkin Park

I am a huge fan of Linkin Park and this was the first song I heard from them and it is also my favourite one. I do find it hard to listen to sometimes as me and my boyfriend were supposed to see them in Manchester last year but then the awful bombings happened and sadly caused so much damage to the arena as well as the victims. Linkin Park then cancelled their show and were performing in Birmingham I think the day after and my boyfriend really wanted to go but I convinced him it was a bit too far to travel for us and that it would be awkward to get home and then a few days later Chester sadly passed away so I have had the guilt of saying no ever since as my boyfriend was a huge fan of them too, even bigger than me.

29. Power- Little Mix

When I first heard this song I wasn’t a fan of it but as it kept playing on the radio and TV I eventually got into it and fell in love with it. I love Little Mix and I think this has been either my favourite or one of my favourite songs that they have ever released.

30. Danza Kuduro- Lucenzo ft Pitbull

I absolutely adore this song! My friend showed me it a few years ago as it kept playing whilst she was on holiday and I just loved it from then. It has also played by the pool when I have been on holiday since. I think it is a great holiday tune when you’re abroad and it is also a great song to dance to.

31. 17- MK

I loved this song when it came out and I still do now, every time it comes on in a nightclub I get so happy. I think it’s great, it’s definitely what I would class as one of my perfect songs.

32. Rock N Roll Star- Oasis

The first time I ever heard this song was surprisingly at Leeds Festival last year when Liam Gallagher was performing. I already knew a few Oasis songs before but never heard this one and then when I heard it I decided to try and find it when I got home. I was expecting it to be a song just by Liam rather than Oasis with him singing it there and the 2 brothers having some sort of argument, I wasn’t expecting Liam to sing any Oasis songs. I just thought it would be his own.

33. Beautiful Trauma- Pink

I love Pink’s new album ‘Beautiful Trauma’ and this is one of the best songs on it. I liked this song when the album first came out but it wasn’t one of my favourites and as I’ve kept listening to it, it’s grown on me. I do really like this song now.

34. What About Us- Pink

This is by far my favourite Pink song from ‘Beautiful Trauma’ I absolutely loved this song when it was released.

35. Rockstar- Post Malone

I was really shocked that I liked this when I first heard it, this isn’t normally my kind of music but I really liked it and still do now. I still get really happy when it starts playing.

36. We Will Rock You- Queen

Who doesn’t love this song? I have grown up as a big Queen fan, thanks to my dad. When I was younger we used to see a tribute band called ‘Mercury’ and they were amazing! I’ve always liked Queen and when I was younger I also met Brian May which was really cool and my dad did too which he was so happy about. Whenever I hear we will rock you I cannot help but either bang on a table or bang in my legs and clap. I think it just comes natural to everyone to be honest though.

37. Skin- Rag N Bone Man

When Rag’N’Bone Man brought out his first single ‘Human’ I loved him straight away. I found his voice unique and that’s what I love about a singer or band, when you can always tell straight away who is singing. Shortly after he released ‘Human’ he brought out his album ‘Human’ and I got it instantly. The song Skin was on there and that instantly became my favourite song on the album.

38. Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2- Stormzy

Now this song was the last thing I expected Stormzy to come out with and I’m sure it was for a lot of people. I couldn’t believe it when I heard the song and saw that it was him. I adore this song and still listen to it repeatedly now.

39. Remember- Sunset Sons

The Sunset Sons were a support to the Imagine Dragons at their concert a few years ago and that’s where me and my boyfriend discovered them. I think they are only a local band but don’t quote me on that, I definitely recommend you check them out because they were amazing and we would love to see them again.

40. Lights- Swedish House Mafia

This song instantly went to my favourite when I first got the album ‘Until Now’ it’s just an instrumental song but it’s still really good. I miss Swedish House Mafia so much.

41. Euphoria- Swedish House Mafia

I had known Euphoria at least a couple of years before the album ‘Until Now’ was released and I absolutely loved it and still do. Awhile ago I had a problem with my phone and it would’nt let me download this song and I was so gutted but I have managed to get it back now.

42. Don’t You Worry Child- Swedish House Mafia

Don’t You Worry Child is my favourite Swedish House Mafia song and my second all time favourite song. I adore this song and I did when it was released. I think a lot of people feel the same about this song too.

43. Darlin- Tom Zanetti

For anyone who has never heard of Tom Zanetti he is a local artist from Leeds. I’m pretty sure a lot of people know of him as this song has been in the charts and so have some of his other ones. It took me ages to manage to find this song, I think I either had to find it online or Shazam it from Geordie Shore. I am so disappointed with my version of it though as it has loads of sex noises in the background and I feel uncomfortable listening to it in front of my parents because they will wonder what the hell I am doing on my phone. Believe it or not this version came from Apple Music as well.

44. You Want Me- Tom Zanetti

This was another popular one of Tom Zanetti’s that made it into the charts as well. I hated this at first surprisingly but when I heard it a few times I started to like it and still listen to it a lot now.

45. Pretty Green Eyes- Ultrabeat

The song Pretty Green Eyes is an old 90s song but it is my all time favourite song. I absolutely adore this song and always have done from being young. Whenever this plays in a local nightclub I am always so happy.

46. For You- Rita Ora ft Liam Payne

This song is the new Fifty Shades song and I absolutely love it. I thought that ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ was a hard soundtrack to beat but this song beats it and it’s one of my favourite songs at the moment. I will admit though, I do love Rita Ora and always have and I do also prefer Liam Payne as a solo artist rather than with One Direction.

47. Let’s Get Wobbly- Cookie Monsta

This song is the perfect ‘pre-drinks’ song! It does sound a little strange at first but you should love it! It’s basically a song about getting drunk and it’s the best. Definitely worth a listen.

48. We Know The Way- Moana

Now judge me all you like, but Moana is tons better than Frozen by far and so are the songs. Now ‘How Far I’ll Go’ is the main song of the film Moana but as much as I like that song I much prefer this song. I just think it’s a bit catchier and one to blast out more, even though ‘How Far I’ll Go’ is also a song to blast out.

49. Reckless- You Me At Six

You Me At Six are definitely a band from my old emo days but I still love them. This is definitely one of my favourite You Me At Six songs.

50. Room To Breathe- You Me At Six

Finally, this is my very favourite You Me At Six song, I even like it just a little bit more than ‘Save It For The Bedroom’ and that is a hard one to beat.

Here is my playlist and thank you for reading I hope to see you again soon. If you like the sound of any of these songs then feel free to give them a listen, also if you have any suggestions for me then please let me know as I’m looking for inspiration for new songs at the moment.
