Lollapalooza 2019: The Ultimate Schedule

Lollapalooza: one of Chicago's biggest, if not the biggest, parties of the year. Hundreds of thousands of people descend upon Chicago's iconic Grant Park every year for a summer weekend to hear a conglomeration of extremely talented musicians/artists paint the Windy City all types of colors. For four days, the Midwest is blessed with a beautiful cacophony of one of humanity's most complex yet gorgeous forms of art, music. That particular weekend is here, and after taking a hard look at the line-up, I have compiled a schedule of artists I personally recommend on seeing, with the possibility of hitting all the stops. Don't follow every recommendation I give, because sometimes I make mistakes (and plus this is all really based on opinion), but I hope you are inspired by my input.

THURSDAY, August 1st, 2019:

12:00pm - 1:45pm = Get inside Lollapalooza, maybe get some water, get a snack (possibly), get situated, go to Perry's to experience it if you haven't, etc.

1:50pm - 2:30pm = shallou @American Eagle

2:30pm - 3:45pm = Take a break, browse other stages, get a snack and all that jazz, pics, or chill

3:50pm - 4:25pm = Normani @ Lake Shore (starts at 4pm)

4:30pm - 5:10pm = Fitz and the Tantrums @ Bud Light

5:15pm - 5:40pm = H.E.R. @ T-Mobile

5:45pm - 6:25pm = Hayley Kiyoko @ Lake Shore

6:30pm - 7:05pm = Saba @ American Eagle

7:10pm - 7:45pm = Hozier @ T-Mobile

7:45pm - 8:25pm = Take a break or go see King Princess @ Lake Shore!

8:30pm - 10:00pm = Go to The Chainsmokers @ Bud Light, go to The Strokes @ T-Mobile, or bounce around both!

10:00pm on = Leave Lolla, go to sleep...you'll need energy for Day Two.

FRIDAY, August 2nd, 2019:

12:00pm - 5:00pm = For the start of Day Two, I say you can either arrive later or you can get to Lolla at 12:00pm, get food/water, chill, and see some of the earlier acts such as Yoshi Flower, Alec Benjamin, or Calboy. Whatever you decide, get prepared for a crazy evening on Day Two...

5:00pm - 5:35pm = 21 Savage @ T-Mobile

5:40pm - 6:00pm = HONNE @ American Eagle

6:00pm - 6:15pm = Rich The Kid @ Lake Shore

6:20pm - 6:40pm = Matoma @ Perry's

In the end, do what you want to do. But, if you're looking for inspiration, if I was looking to have an ultimate schedule for my Lollapalooza weekend... this is probably what it would look like. What's most important is, have a fun and safe time at Lollapalooza! Stay hydrated!
