Music videos are considered to be marketing tools which are used as artist commercials as well as entertainment. Producing the super sexy music videos helped some artists reach higher visibility and fame.

Music nowadays is not all about vocals and sounds, you need to have captivating visuals so that people will keep their eyes on you and also be able to view you on all online media like MTV, YouTube, etc.

Making music videos is not just about shooting scenes but incorporating features that makes the video to draw attention. A sensual song isn't complete without an equally sexy music video. The music industry understands the fact that sex appeal sells which is why there has been the emergent of feminine flesh-fest styles, half-nude displays, ass-twerking and other erotic moves used to keep eyes on singers.

And, that's how these sexy videos made it to the top of the charts.

"Girls on Film" was known to be one of Duran Duran's top singles, and it landed them at number five on the charts in 1981.

This single is considered to be one of the sexiest music videos of all time due to its ability to stand the test of time through some special sexy scenes incorporated in the making of the video.

First off, the video features a number of glamorous fashionable sexy models and second, the band was surrounded by skimpily clothed and partially nude women.

After the production of the video, it was discovered that the director's aim is to get this extremely naughty video played in various sorts of venues where there wouldn’t be much critics about seeing models in a transparent bathrobe like dance clubs with huge video monitors.

"Dirrty" is a song recorded by American recording artists Christina Aguilera and Redman in 2002. This music video was rated one of the sexiest music videos of all times due to the level of sexual content featured in it.

It showcases the beautiful Aguilera in some kind of striped underworld wearing very little clothing and a very visible panty. In one scene, she wins a fight in a ring and in another, she dances seductively in a shower.

The video is widely regarded as extremely sexually explicit. It created a new image for Aguilera, who had once suffered a breakdown before recording the album and wanted to take more control of her career. The song didn't get a lot of radio play, but the video did very well. It was ranked No. 1 on MTV's Total Request Live.

"Sad Eyes" was shot and directed by David LaChapelle. It was erotic to the extent that MTV tagged it as a video which is "not suitable for work" (NSFW) immediately after its release due to high level of uncensored sexual content.

It depicts Iglesias alone in a motel room indulging erotic fantasies about a girl he sees in a phone-sex ad. The video went on to capture them in an extremely sensual position, having sex in a bathtub. In 2009, the video was uploaded to LaChappelle's website but was promptly removed at the request of Universal Music; it has since found its way to various video-sharing sites.

The song's steamy music video was co-directed by Bruno Mars and his frequent collaborator Cameron Duddy. It shows singer Bruno Mars and his band performing the song in a seedy strip club. This video is labeled as the best strip club video and one of the sexiest music videos of all time thanks to its authentic vibes.

The opening sequence of the video features a cameo appearance by the American actor Luis Guzman as the club's sleazy owner and Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto as Isabella the Stripper.

In one scene, Mars and the striper Pinto share a steamy kiss in the backset of his car. In the club, Pinto strip off her clothes leaving only her corset lingerie which left the audience spellbound. Near the end of the music video, the Indian beauty wanders onstage seductively, drenched by the sprinkler.

Simian Mobile Disco released a song called “Hustler” which was not really understood by many. They later made a video to complement the song which was pretty naughty and overt, featuring a number of ladies kissing each other. We're guessing the video cleared things up.

The video begins with bored-looking indie chicks playing "Chinese Whispers" which was not long before the game went wild and it turns into a total girl-on-girl snogfest.

It's a very sexy and believed to be an innocent video turning into chaos, featuring a range of real girls who seem to be having a very real time. This idea gave the video a stance to feature in the list of the sexiest music video of all time. Anyway, now that “Hustler’s” being re-modified, they’ve had a sit-down and a think about what direction the new video should go for.

The video for "Justify My Love" portrayed partial nudity which provoked MTV to forbid it, but eventually they agreed to play it late at night. The music video portrayed Madonna as a woman walking in a hotel hallway, looking distressed and exhausted from work, until later when she was being seduced into having sex with a mysterious man and woman.

It caused controversy worldwide, due to its explicit sexual acts on camera. It was one of the first videos to show a threesome - or heavily insinuate it.

"Wicked Game" is a tale of obsessive love which features model Helena Christensen seducing Isaak on a beach. Christensen and Isaak were shirtless throughout the video, although Christensen's nakedness was concealed by clever camera positioning.

This has to be the sexiest music video of all time because it regularly features on "The Sexiest Music Videos Ever" lists and it has been popularly known for it. It also won the MTV Video Music Awards for Best Male Video, Best Cinematography, and Best Video from a Film.

The fashion photographer Herb Ritts directed the track's sexy video, he often worked with black and white, also directed a number of commercials for Victoria's Secret.

The song's lyrics concern a man's plea to his lover for sex. The video shows muscular D'Angelo appearing nude and lip-synching to the track. To accompany this track about his beseeching plea for some love from his girlfriend, directors Paul Hunter and Dominique Trenier shot the video with D'Angelo lip-synching into the camera, wearing nothing but a gold cross around his neck.

He was actually wearing pajama pants during the shoot but pulled them low to preserve the illusion that he was naked, which is the main reason why so many people term it as the sexiest music video of all time. While the clip was popular, it also generated controversy for its alleged sexual objectification.

Featuring a bunch of very scantily dressed models wielding power tools, along with information on how to use them, "Satisfaction" wasn’t just entertaining, it was downright hot.

The video was made in the form of a virtual commercial for a variety of power tools which are displayed in a very sexualized context. This version the music video was constrained to nighttime hours.

It features lad mag models Jerri Byrne, Thekla Roth, Natasha Mealey, and centerfold Suzanne Stokes.

It was rated among the sexiest music video of all time because it presented Page 3 girl and escort Lena Franks as star. Her role in the Benny Benassi video was considered erotic modeling by many.

Despite Pharrell’s naughty lyrics, the video for N.E.R.D.’s first single isn’t tagged NSFW.

If you’re a fan of watching dudes’ faces when multiple girls are grinding on them, you’ve found your new favorite video because it features beautiful babes doing just that.

Although the track itself didn’t chart very high when it was first released in 2001, but it definitely stood the test of time and continues to get a positive thumbs up whenever it’s played in the club which it why most clubbers considered it to be one of the sexiest music videos ever made.

This 13 minute video was directed by Jared Leto, and premiered on MTV on November 29, 2010. It takes place in what is believed to be a dream, and explores a violent and sexual world where the band members of 30 Seconds to Mars were stalked and attacked by various figures.

The most sensual part which tagged it as the sexiest music video of all time is where a bisexual female couple engaged in sexual bondage activities with Jared while he is confronted by hallucinations. Also, Jared spends the entire video shirtless displaying his muscular abs while Shannon battles with a woman, who shares romantic feelings for him, ending with a kiss.

"Fade" by Kanye features the talented Teyana Taylor dancing in a gym. Many viewer suggested that the video will feature among the sexiest music video of all time as directors of the video were sexualizing her (Teyana) throughout the entire video but the fact is that she was just doing her workout at the gym.

Then the shot inharmoniously switched to an obvious sexual mood which is pretty much soft core porn. Toward the end, she hops into the shower with her actual life partner Iman Shumpert.

But the real question comes about 15 seconds from the end of the video when Taylor poses nude alongside her man. She’s been transformed into some kind of cat-woman hybrid, they both stare intensely into the camera as it pans out to reveal a flock of white sheep, and also a baby.
