If It Isn’t For Love
The keen eyes of the falcon flying close to the horizon landed on it. A vulture was scavenging, and the falcon stared at it. A sense of familiarity hit the falcon’s mind, so it descended to a lower altitude to check it. It noticed the ragged brown threads on the beak of the vulture.

Soul Sisters
She’s quiet ofttimes and loves seclusion. I wonder she can read minds, that’s why she’s stuck with me like pop socket which sucks the cellphone’s back. As much as she loves me, she hates guests in our home. When someone visits me, which is a rare occurrence, she turns away from me, marches to the corner of the patio door, twitches her tail and watches outside. She refuses to eat all day and never allows me near her. It’s a sign of anger which I don’t get it. I expect and wait patiently for her to welcome guests one day and stop being mad at me. Apart from this one thing, me and Kitty are inseparable. We are like soul sisters.

A Dream World With Rose-Colored Glasses
I didn’t know what Rock, Jazz, Blues and Country music meant in my teenage because my community people considered girls who listen to western music as rebels. Boys enjoyed the freedom which the girls cannot imagine even in their fantasyland. Girls have to stick to the rules. They would force girls to learn only classical music and sing/hear regional songs. The misconception of girls would lose their discipline if they hear English songs floated around my people when I grew up.
